Who Benefits

Along with the support of local sponsors, over the past few years the members of the Simi Valley Arts Alliance board of directors granted over $60,000 worth of new musical instruments to orchestra and band students in Simi Valley’s middle and high schools, as well as $40,000 back into our high schools’ music programs.

Middle and high school students are nominated by their band and orchestra directors to receive a brand new instrument. These are awarded in the spring of each year.
